About Us

Horn Please is not your typical Indian joint.

Chef Amar comes from the sweet soil of Kapurthala, Punjab, India. He was always curious to learn new dishes and always had a passion for cooking. Pursuing his passion, he soon became a part of the thriving Chef team of Jalandhar Hotel in Punjab.

“My mom’s cooked meals were the source of my inspiration. I grew up eating delicious cuisines cooked by her, it was utterly magical and encouraged me to create unique and wholesome dishes myself”, says Amar.

He started with “ Dhaba at the Mill” and later acquired Horn Please and has taken her to the next level. He has a clear goal in mind – serve Indian food with a unique twist and to create an exciting space that is different from regular Indian dining experience.

Not only this, he is the proud owner of “Daughter in Law” located in Melbourne and Adelaide and he has taken his cooking adventure across city borders to Sydney with “Pinkyji” – a fun dining experience with desi vibes.

Horn Please is the perfect spot to celebrate your special occasion or to just stop by for a delicious meal in Melbourne.

We are waiting to welcome you!

See you soon.

When you come to Horn Please, come ready to feast and have fun with us. We hope as you pass through our doors, you will feel the hospitality spirit of our beloved India, where it is always an honour to feed a guest.

Absolutely amazing experience at Horn Please! We had the most delicious spicy margarita to start and the staff were so kind. All of the food was flavourful and my partner agreed it was some of the best Indian food we have ever had. Will definitely be coming back!

We had our family over for mothers day last night. The food was superb.the service was impressive. The place was too cramped. The colours and wall painting were dark and gloomy. Wall paintings could be more traditional Indian .had English music of course to cater to the prevailing crowd. It was jam packed. Definitely need more space and improved ambience. Can't complain about the food and service 5+stars.good value for money. The set menu was indeed too much. I will recommend and visit again.

Absolutely delicious! So fantastic. The staff were the friendliest and the food. Wow!We chose the chef's selection and were so satisfied with the choices offered; tasty and colourful. The breads were charred and perfect to scoop up the creamy curries. The beers were reasonably priced and the variety of cocktails was excellent. But I want to just say thank you, the staff really were so friendly and knowledgeable. We will be back, either dining in or take away. Do try it!

Absolutely incredible food. We came in as a group of 4 and had the banquet, believe me when I tell you it is WORTH IT!!! So much food came out and every single dish was beyond delicious. The only downside to the whole experience is that I live too far away to visit weekly!
